While exploring the Joshua Tree National Park, I found a very interesting rock formation overlooking the expansive desert land. To me it looked like a huge mountain goat with its horns in a circular twist and it's eyes in a meditative state, majestically guarding the park. With my thick individual brushstrokes, my intention was to capture the intensity of the desert scape under the watchful eye of its fierce protector.
