The day was cold, but the view was gold! I had visited Kootenay National Park, in British Columbia, a few years ago in November.  It had already snowed and the weather was freezing.  The water was surprisingly green! The white snow set off the color of the water even more. 
Painted with heavy body acrylic,  I've tried to capture the essence of the pristine water surrounded by snow and trees that withstood the wild fires of the seasons past.
